A special program on the backdrop of World Water Day !

Pune, 22nd March 2013, On the eve of World Water Day, environmental journalists, renowned stage and TV artists and water-activists of the city shared a platform to engage in the dialogue that was replete with passionate debate and penetrating observations. TERRE Policy Centre organized this event attended by numerous experts.

Later, a panel of journalist and experts presented different facts and figures about the state of nation, and the water management leading to its effect on environment today and they ended with a note that more and more people need to come together to make a difference and suggested some way-out for uniting people for such a cause.

The event was concluded with the concluding by Rajendra Shende, who talked about global scenario and how water mismanagement can make civilizations collapse giving past examples. He motivated the audience to take simple efforts to save water in day to day life.
