Dr. P A Inamdar's social excellence award
TERRE Policy Centre organized 4th 'Prakashache Bet' on 25th Jan 2018. Dr. Vinitaa Apte, President, TERRE felicitated Mr. Ganesh Kadu for his outstanding contribution in waste management in Panvel city.
"We have to modify the concept 'Waste'. If we start segregating the waste at homes, it will help to reduce the waste generation. Also the wet waste from home can be used for making manure!" said Mr. Kadu. He has started 'zero waste' project in his area through which he makes household manure. He has also conducted lectures at many schools and colleges in Panvel city along with live demonstrations.
