Earth is the mother of all living and non living creatures. It is our responsibility to conserve her. Nowadays, Plastic is one of the very important factor which are causing Pollution. To protest the excessive usage of Plastic in day to day life, and spread this message in society, TERRE Policy Centre organized the physical theatre based act named The Transparent Trap. The programme started with the screening of Vasundhara Geet, sooner, which is going to be screened in the Cinema Theatres. Dr. Vinitaa Apte, Founder President of TERRE greeted the audience in her welcome speech. Also she spoke about the different activities and initiatives by TERRE.
The act was based on the negative impacts of excessive usage of Plastic on not only just human being but flora - fauna and the surrounding as well. The increased command of plastic in every sector is causing hazard to nature and ‘banning it’ is the only way to repeal the plastic. The artists portrayed the future conditions very creatively that act delivered a very important message to the audience with a mute physical theatre act!
The climate change conference will begin next week. Climate change is a man-made crisis. Unless we use the earth's resources wisely, no concrete solution can be found at any conference...........!!
