TERRE has declared the 6th edition of the national-level “Young Research Fellowship” in reverential memory of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The fellowship was announced on the occasion of the late Dr. Kalam’s birth anniversary on 15th October 2023, and the winners were felicitated on his death anniversary on 27th July 2024. Dr. Jatinder Kaur Arora (Former Executive Director, Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Member Secretary, Punjab Biodiversity Board Chandigarh, India) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the Award Ceremony. Of the shortlisted five best projects, five were awarded the fellowship. Esteemed jury member Dr. Vinitaa Apte (Founder and Director, TERRE Policy Centre) were present for the ceremony and congratulated the winners.
