On August 7th, 2024, TERRE Policy Centre, in collaboration with TATA AutoComp Systems Limited, commenced an important plantation drive at Pait Village. Throughout August, the initiative aims to plant approximately 2,500 indigenous trees, including Neem, Karanj, Peepal, and other native species. This project is set to significantly enhance the green cover of the village, contributing to increased biodiversity and improved soil quality. By boosting carbon sequestration, the drive also supports climate mitigation efforts. Through these efforts, the initiative will foster a healthier, more sustainable environment for the community.
