On August 10th, 2024, TERRE Policy Centre, in collaboration with Google India, organized a successful plantation drive at Kodit Kh., Tal. Purandar, District Pune. About 500 trees were planted, 100 volunteers took part in the event, planting indigenous trees such as Neem, Peepal, and Karanj. This initiative not only enhances local biodiversity but also contributes to improving air quality, providing shade, and supporting soil conservation. By fostering such green spaces, the drive helps to combat climate change and promotes a healthier environment for the community.
