On 8th May 2024, the Global Women Network for Nature (GWNN) held its monthly meeting, showcasing our dedication to environmental stewardship. Dr. Vinitaa Apte, Founder and Director of TERRE Policy Centre, welcomed distinguished guests and members. We were honoured to have Ruth Holton-Hodson, Vice President of Solar Cookers International (SCI), present on the benefits of solar cooking for health, economic well-being, women's empowerment, and the environment. She highlighted SCI's efforts in promoting climate-friendly solar cooking in vulnerable communities. The meeting concluded with an engaging Q&A session.
