TERRE celebrating 10 glorious years of TERRE Olympiad
To felicitate and encourage the winners of the national-level online environmental quiz competition TERRE Olympiad 2024-25, TERRE Policy Centre organized an Award Ceremony on 15th January 2025 at Patrakar Bhavan, Ganjve Chowk, Sadashiv Peth, Pune. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Aditi Gupta, Head HR, TATA Motors, Mr. Rohit Saroj, Deputy General Manager, CSR & Affirmative Actions, TATA Motors, and Dr. Vinita Apte, Founder & Director, TERRE Policy Centre.
To create environmental awareness among students, environmental champions are actively working in schools to inspire the younger generation. To recognize and honor their passion, dedication, and contribution to environmental awareness, particularly in rural areas, TERRE felicitated Ms. Kirtimalini Rajendra Dhamale, Assistant Teacher at Bhartiya Jain Sanghatna Secondary & Higher Secondary School, Wagholi, and Dr. Shaikh S.H., Principal at Vishnuji Shekuji (V.S.) Satav High School & Junior College.
TERRE also celebrated the achievements of schools for their remarkable contributions. St. Mary School, Dahod, Gujarat, was honored for consecutive participation, while Kavyapta Global School, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, was recognized for consistent participation. Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya, Hansapada Nimapara, Puri, Odisha, was appreciated for participation from a difficult area, and Seth Jyotiprasad Vidyalaya, Daund, Maharashtra, received the Green School Award.
Through this event, TERRE Policy Centre continues its mission to foster environmental awareness and sustainability among young minds, celebrating a decade of impactful contributions with TERRE Olympiad
