TERRE Policy Centre inaugurated its Tree Plantation Drive 2026–27 with the support of TMGSL, TMCVL, and TMPVL under the CSR initiative of TATA Motors Group. The inauguration ceremony was conducted at Kodit Kh Gairan, where a large-scale Miyawaki plantation project has been planned for the current year.
The plantation activity was formally inaugurated by the Union Leaders of TATA Motors, the HR Team, and the CSR Team of TATA Motors, marking the beginning of this ambitious environmental initiative. Around 30 participants were present during the inauguration and plantation activity, demonstrating their commitment towards ecological restoration and sustainable development.
Under this year’s programme, TERRE Policy Centre is implementing a Miyawaki forest plantation model, which is known for its high-density plantation technique and rapid forest growth. The project aims to enhance biodiversity, improve soil quality, increase green cover, and contribute to long-term climate resilience in the region.
