On the 22nd of January 2022, a tree plantation drive was conducted by TERRE Policy Centre at SRPF Firing Range, Wadachiwadi. Tree plantation was done by TERRE with its valuable CSR partner thyssenkrupp IndustrialSolutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. Trees were planted by the hands of Dr. Vinitaa Apte (Founder Director, TERRE), Mr. Dilip Khedekar (Asst. Commandant, SRPF group-1), Mr. Shashank Yadwad (ADM, Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. and other team members of all the above institutions. Species like Kanchan, Kadamb, Mahogany, Karanj of approx. height 10-12 feet are planted at the site. TERRE Policy Centre will take care of planted trees for the next 3 years i.e. until trees become mature. TERRE has set up a permanent watering system at the plantation site.
