UN Ocean Conference 2025 in Nice, France

As part of the lead-up to the UN Ocean Conference 2025 in Nice, France, panel discussion titled “Advancing Asia’s Science-Policy-Society Interface: Regional Priorities and Tangible Actions” was held on June 7, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM, at the Green Zone, Room Manta, organized in collaboration with ECOP (Early Career Ocean Professionals), Oceanus Conservation, TERRE Policy Centre, the Second Institute of Oceanography, Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA), and the #WeAreTheOcean campaign, the session brought together regional voices dedicated to bridging science, policy, and society for a more sustainable future.

The discussion was co-moderated by Camille Rivera (Oceanus Conservation, ECOP Philippines) and Shenghui Li (Guangdong Ocean University, ECOP China).

The session served as a vital platform for exchanging regional priorities and reinforcing the importance of tangible, collaborative action for ocean sustainability.
