On Sunday, 12th May 2024, the Water & Climate Sustainability Symposium hosted a panel discussion on managing water resources amidst climate change. The session, moderated by Dr. Ashutosh Shukla, Assistant Director of the International Institute of Water (IIW) in Jodhpur, India, covered topics such as water rights, equitable distribution, and international agreements on transboundary water management. Panelists included Dr. Rajendra Singh, Member of the Governing Council at IIW Jodhpur; Dr. Rajendra Kumar Tiwari, Chairman of the Water Policy & Governance Council in Jodhpur; Dr. Vinitaa Apte, Founder and Director of TERRE Policy Centre in Pune; Saeed Hormozy, and Rebekka Dominique, both Members of the Water Policy & Governance Council in Jodhpur. Attendees gained valuable insights into fostering sustainable and resilient water systems globally.
